Job Description
The Associate in Finance supports the company's renewable energy projects by performing financial modeling, analysis, and reporting to optimize capital use and inform investment decisions, while collaborating across various teams to enhance financial strategies and processes.
Responsibilities
- •Maintain and update project finance and portfolio planning models.
- •Model project economics to support development and investment decisions.
- •Prepare financial reports, metrics, and analyses for projects and segments.
- •Support financing activities by sourcing loans, tax equity, and development capital.
- •Validate and review cash flows for project development and delivery.
- •Research new financing structures, regulations, and industry trends.
- •Improve systems and processes to enhance work quality, efficiency, and scalability.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, or related subject.
- •2-3 years of experience performing financial modeling and analysis.
- •High proficiency in Office 365 skills and advanced Excel proficiency (e.g., pivot tables, macros, data tables, simulations solver, static and dynamic formulas).
- •Experience preparing annual budgets, long-range plans, cash forecasts, operational metrics, and rolling forecasts for executive management.
- •Ability to review and validate the integrity of historical and forecasted project development and delivery cash flows.
- •Demonstrated qualities of integrity, credibility, and confidentiality.
- •Strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills.
- •Ability to be proactive, flexible, and to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight schedules and competing deadlines.
- •Proven ability to deliver efficient, timely, reliable data and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- •Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and project manage at all levels of the organization.
- •A results-oriented, self-starter, highly motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership.
- •A willingness to contribute to a culture that thrives on building trust and holding one another accountable.

- •Compensation: Seattle $85,000 - $127,000, Madison $75,000 - $106,000
