Job Description
The Solar Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and installing equipment at solar power plants, ensuring safe and efficient operation while adhering to standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- •Maintain, troubleshoot, test, repair, and install equipment in solar power plants according to standards and procedures
- •Operate and perform daily inspections of solar power systems
- •Troubleshoot electrical system problems using diagnostic tools
- •Document work activities, including work orders, service logs, and emergency reports
- •Manage inventory of equipment to ensure adequate stock levels
- •Train, mentor, and develop laborers and apprentices
- •Ensure safety and professionalism in all operations and maintenance activities
Requirements
- •Valid Driver's License
- •At least 3 years suitable employment experience in a related field
- •High aptitude and a strong work ethic
- •Excellent written and oral communication skills
- •Ability to perform basic electrical calculations, read and interpret electrical schematics
- •Ability to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervision
- •Ability to perform necessary physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs
- •Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

- •Compensation/salary range: $20 - $45 per hour
