Job Description
The Director of Origination at Nexamp will lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for identifying project sites and securing site control opportunities in the clean energy sector, while implementing effective origination strategies to drive company growth.
Responsibilities
- •Build, lead, manage and develop an Origination team to meet growth objectives.
- •Leverage internal platforms and technology tools to optimize sales processes.
- •Develop and manage personnel training and development strategies.
- •Establish resource allocation plans and tailor origination strategies.
- •Enforce data management and compliance standards across the team.
- •Manage external lead referral partners to support origination efforts.
Requirements
- •5-6 years of sales or business development experience.
- •At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- •1 or more years of experience in solar, energy, real estate development, or a comparable industry in a sales business development role.
- •Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable results through team leadership and strategic planning.
- •Proficient in performance evaluation and the ability to coach and mentor staff.
- •Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and report generation.
- •Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
- •Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond the organization.
- •Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
- •Ability to build strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
- •Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.

- •Occasional travel required.
