Job Description

The Director of Origination at Nexamp will lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for identifying project sites and securing site control opportunities in the clean energy sector, while implementing effective origination strategies to drive company growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, manage and develop an Origination team to meet growth objectives.
  • Leverage internal platforms and technology tools to optimize sales processes.
  • Develop and manage personnel training and development strategies.
  • Establish resource allocation plans and tailor origination strategies.
  • Enforce data management and compliance standards across the team.
  • Manage external lead referral partners to support origination efforts.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of sales or business development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • 1 or more years of experience in solar, energy, real estate development, or a comparable industry in a sales business development role.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable results through team leadership and strategic planning.
  • Proficient in performance evaluation and the ability to coach and mentor staff.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and report generation.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond the organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.

  • Occasional travel required.
