Job Description
The Senior Director of European Business Development at Loft Orbital is responsible for leading and expanding the company's satellite and space infrastructure business across Europe by building strategic partnerships, engaging with government and commercial stakeholders, and driving growth in the European space sector.
Responsibilities
- •Lead and expand Loft Orbital's business development efforts in the European market.
- •Strengthen relationships with European governmental bodies, agencies, and commercial sector players.
- •Identify, influence, and secure strategic opportunities to drive regional growth.
- •Build and manage strategic partnerships with organizations such as CNES, ESA, EC, DLR, and UKSA.
- •Engage with stakeholders to craft proposals and secure institutional and commercial opportunities.
Requirements
- •Proven experience in leading and expanding business development efforts within the European space sector, including engaging with European governmental bodies, agencies, and commercial players.
- •Demonstrated ability to identify, influence, and secure strategic opportunities that drive company growth in the European market.
- •Experience in building and managing strategic partnerships with organizations such as CNES, European Space Agency (ESA), European Commission (EC), DLR, UKSA, and similar institutions.
- •Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including engaging deeply with stakeholders, crafting winning proposals, and maintaining relationships with institutional and commercial entities.
- •Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- •Ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment with a focus on strategic growth and partnership development.
- •Experience in the space industry or related high-technology sectors, with a focus on satellite operations, space infrastructure, or mission management preferred.
