Job Description

The Staff Product Manager - Financials will lead the development and management of financial products and systems within Kraken’s innovative energy management platform, focusing on creating sustainable, AI-driven solutions to optimize energy resources and enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap for energy management platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Drive the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven energy solutions and customer systems.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform product strategy and innovation.
  • Ensure the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality customer experiences through product features.

Requirements

  • Experience in product management within the energy or utility industry, with a focus on customer information systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, or AI-driven communications.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver innovative energy management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI-driven platform development and energy management technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Ability to develop and execute product strategies that align with the company's mission to create a sustainable energy system.
  • Experience in managing product lifecycle from conception to deployment and iteration.
  • Demonstrated experience in working on projects that optimize renewable generation, create intelligent grids, or improve customer experience in energy management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Energy Management, or related discipline.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on transforming the energy industry.
