Job Description
A full stack software engineer responsible for developing and maintaining internal web-based tools and applications that support quantum device research and fabrication workflows, focusing on data visualization, complex data interactions, and backend database management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop web-based applications, dashboards, and interactive components for scientific data visualization and manipulation
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools supporting quantum device research and fabrication workflows
- Develop and extend backend databases to support new data types and research requirements
Requirements
- Five years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, and Python.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular.js, or React.js.
- Experience building APIs with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with ORMs such as SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker for developing, testing, and deploying applications.
- Familiarity with modern data visualization tools such as D3.js, Plotly, or similar libraries.
- Proficiency in version control and continuous integration deployment workflows using platforms like Gitlab.
- Basic familiarity with statistics and data science.
- Solid understanding of core computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and computer architectures.
- U.S. citizenship or active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Base salary range: 145,745 - 186,688 USD
