Job Description
The role involves leading process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality at Gotion's battery production facility in Manteno, IL.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste, improve productivity, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Utilize DMAIC methodology to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to streamline processes and enhance product quality.
- Develop, train, and mentor employees in Lean and Six Sigma principles and tools.
- Perform time studies, process mapping, and value stream analysis to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Implement and sustain Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban.
- Track and report project progress, savings, and key metrics to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a focus on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading successful process improvement projects.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in process mapping software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 plus 15% bonus
