Job Description
A Box Truck Delivery Driver responsible for safely transporting reefer goods to various locations, ensuring timely and secure deliveries while maintaining vehicle safety and effective communication with the dispatch team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26 to 30-foot box truck with a reefer to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
- Ensure the safety and integrity of goods throughout the delivery process
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding route and schedule updates
Requirements
- Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and have at least 3 years of driving experience; non-CDL candidates are also welcome.
- Have a clean driving record, pass a background check, and a drug screen.
- Be capable of safely operating a 26 to 30-foot box truck with a reefer, including driving with or without a reefer.
- Possess the ability to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition, ensuring safety and integrity throughout the delivery process.
- Be computer literate and able to communicate effectively.
- Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekdays, and weekends.
- Take initiative, be proactive, and pay attention to detail and safety during operations.
