Job Description
The Wire Transfer Specialist is responsible for processing, monitoring, verifying, and posting domestic and international wire transfers, ensuring compliance with regulations, resolving complex discrepancies, and supporting audit and system upgrade efforts within a dynamic banking environment.
Responsibilities
- •Process, monitor, verify, and post domestic and international wire transfers
- •Conduct complex research requests and gather data for subpoenas
- •Ensure accurate daily wire settlement and resolve complex discrepancies
- •Support audit requests and assist in resolving audit findings
- •Contribute to testing and troubleshooting system upgrades and disaster recovery efforts
- •Follow policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OFAC, Regulation J, Regulation E, and UCC Article 4A
Requirements
- •The candidate must have the ability to process, monitor, verify, and post Domestic and International wire transfers at an advanced level.
- •The candidate must complete complex research requests and pull data required for subpoenas.
- •The candidate must assist with updating procedures and making recommendations for improvements.
- •The candidate must support efforts with audit requests and resolutions for findings.
- •The candidate must contribute to testing and troubleshooting for system upgrades and disaster recovery efforts.
- •The candidate must ensure accurate daily wire settlement and resolve complex differences.
- •The candidate must act as a backup to the Wire Transfer Operations Manager.
- •The candidate must follow established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OFAC, Regulation J, Regulation E, and the Uniform Commercial Code Article 4A.
- •The candidate must have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- •The candidate must have the ability to use hands and fingers to operate technology or office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- •The candidate must have the ability to utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity.
- •The candidate must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with others.
- •The candidate must be capable of working in an office setting, with some positions possibly allowing remote work at management discretion.
- •The candidate must be able to operate technology or other office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- •The candidate must be able to perform duties with a high level of flexibility regarding situationally assigned tasks outside of the core job description.
