Job Description
A geospatial solutions specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise GIS workflows and solutions using Esri technology to help customers make data-driven decisions, particularly in the defense and intelligence sectors.
Responsibilities
- •Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- •Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers for innovative Esri technology solutions
- •Identify the value of location within customer workflows and recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions
- •Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various organizational levels
- •Collaborate with customer IT teams to align technical objectives and business goals with Esri’s technology
Requirements
- •5 years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
- •Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform Desktop, Server, and Online
- •Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs
- •Pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain
- •Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns
- •Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers, project managers, and/or customers
- •Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
- •US citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a US Security Clearance
- •Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
