Job Description
This role involves supporting the development, testing, and deployment of the ArcGIS Velocity software, working closely with developers and users to ensure high-quality, real-time GIS solutions through automation, technical assistance, and system administration.
Responsibilities
- •Design, build, test, and release high-quality software in collaboration with developers
- •Communicate with product users to gather and advocate for requirements throughout the development process
- •Research industry standards to translate requirements into software design
- •Develop automated functional and performance tests to ensure software quality
- •Support the implementation of ArcGIS Velocity on Windows and Linux platforms
- •Provide user documentation, demonstrations, and technical assistance for the product
- •Collaborate with team members throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- •5 years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilities
- •Experience developing, executing, and interpreting automated, functional, regression, and performance tests
- •Experience with scripting in Python
- •Proven experience installing and administering ArcGIS Enterprise
- •Hands-on experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
