Job Description
A developer role focused on creating high-performance, scalable software for 3D reconstruction from images and Lidar data, contributing to geospatial applications that support social and environmental initiatives. The position involves collaborating within a team to develop APIs, optimize software, and advance reality capture technology using C in a cross-platform environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team to develop software for 3D reconstruction from images and Lidar, scene understanding, and visualization.
- Develop performant, maintainable software to support social and environmental monitoring initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs, ensuring their performance and security.
- Shape and improve the software product for a growing community of reality capture users.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry experience with C skills, including designing, authoring, testing, debugging, and profiling source code.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, geomatics engineering, or a related field.
- Existing work authorization for Germany.
- Motivation to shape a team and product to ensure customer success.
- Desire to develop performant and maintainable software that contributes to social and environmental development, such as global monitoring through GIS.
- Ability to collaborate in a team to create industry-leading software for 3D reconstruction from images and Lidar, scene understanding, and visualization solutions.
- Interest in the geospatial industry.
- Willingness to continuously grow in team communication and self-leadership.
