Job Description
This role involves supporting the development and enhancement of ArcGIS software, focusing on data automation, migration, and GIS database projects, primarily for the ArcGIS Maritime product, to enable effective spatial analysis and mapping solutions for diverse clients worldwide.
Responsibilities
- •Design and develop data automation, migration, and database projects in GIS environments
- •Perform processing tasks using ArcGIS and related Esri products
- •Build and support GIS databases from imagery and digital sources
- •Review and interpret production processes for map and data creation
- •Write geoprocessing scripts using Python and SQL
- •Coordinate workflows with project technical managers
Requirements
- •Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities such as data automation, data migration, database development, and GIS-related tasks.
- •Demonstrated experience with Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD and data migration to geodatabases.
- •Proficiency with the Esri product line, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Desktop, and related desktop extensions.
- •Experience with automated cartography, computer science, programming, and spatial analysis.
- •Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- •Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, computer science, or a STEM-related field.
