The job involves serving as a thought leader in the agriculture industry, promoting the use of geospatial understanding and GIS to enhance organizational efficiency. Responsibilities include developing industry messaging, delivering content, and collaborating with experts to drive geospatial awareness and demand.
Responsibilities
- •Deliver thought leadership through content such as webinars, case studies, and social media programs
- •Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends
- •Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert
- •Collaborate with industry and marketing professionals for global messaging
- •Provide competitive and customer insights to the agricultural accounts team
- •Leverage industry knowledge in discussions with technology teams
Requirements
- •Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry.
- •8 years of experience at key agricultural organizations with demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology.
- •Significant executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals.
- •Considerable experience working with multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences.
- •Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities.
- •Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics.
- •Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- •Bachelor's degree in agriculture, geography, business, or related field.
