Job Description
This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry knowledge to build relationships, develop strategies, and provide solutions for local government clients, with a focus on expanding the adoption of Esri's GIS solutions through sales, consulting, and account management activities.
Responsibilities
- •Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
- •Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- •Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
- •Demonstrate the value of Esri technology related to government needs
- •Execute account management and sales processes to close opportunities
- •Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
- •Research and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs
Requirements
- •Minimum of 1 year of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- •Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- •Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
- •Demonstrated knowledge of state and local government and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- •Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- •Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- •Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
- •Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).
