Job Description

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for managing the planning, receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies for the plant, ensuring accurate inventory control, coordinating with vendors, and supporting maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, receive, store, and distribute supplies used in plant operations and maintenance
  • Process incoming goods, including receipt, unpacking, and storage
  • Attend counter inquiries and issue materials as requested
  • Purchase spare parts and consumable items for the site
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the EAM system
  • Assist with invoice verification
  • Develop relationships with vendors and repair shops to schedule parts delivery and repairs
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and Lull machines
  • Read technical diagrams and schematics related to mechanical equipment

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years experience in parts, inventory, logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment.
  • Basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklift, Lull, etc.
  • Successful completion of training as required by Supervisor and specified by Enviva.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of all MS Office, Windows including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver's License.
