Job Description
The Research Associate, Sample Management, is responsible for managing and controlling samples and inventory to support drug discovery efforts, helping to accelerate the development of new medicines from natural compounds.
Responsibilities
- •Manage and control sample inventory to ensure proper storage and tracking
- •Coordinate sample receipt, labeling, and documentation processes
- •Maintain accurate records of sample data and movement
- •Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in sample handling
- •Support sample preparation and distribution for research activities
Requirements
- •Experience in sample management and inventory control, demonstrating expertise in managing biological or chemical samples.
- •Ability to handle sample storage, tracking, and organization to support drug discovery processes.
- •Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory control and sample documentation.
- •Relevant educational background or experience that qualifies the candidate for a research associate role in a laboratory or research setting.
- •Physical ability to handle and manage samples, which may include lifting, moving, or organizing laboratory materials as required.
- •Demonstrated commitment to safety and proper handling procedures for biological or chemical samples.
- •Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting the company's culture of creativity and collaboration.
