Job Description
The Director of Product at EnergyHub leads the development and strategy of software solutions that enable utilities to create virtual power plants using distributed energy resources, focusing on scaling existing capabilities and innovating new value propositions in the energy and IoT sectors.
Responsibilities
- •Align product strategy with company vision and track progress using KPIs
- •Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to validate and refine product vision and strategy
- •Develop and maintain a product roadmap that delivers continuous value to utility clients
- •Evaluate and implement solutions to scale multiple lines of business with scalable, user-friendly products
- •Lead and mentor a team of product managers to solve problems and identify opportunities
- •Model best-in-class product development practices and shape team standards
- •Contribute innovative ideas and identify problems to advance the company's mission
Requirements
- •8 years of software product management experience, including 3 years managing a team of high-performing product managers
- •Significant experience defining and building enterprise-grade SaaS products with notable technical complexity
- •Experience working with electric utilities or IoT, familiarity with modern grid management and planning tools and frameworks, or comparable expertise
- •Ability to think strategically with a willingness to be hands-on in day-to-day product work
- •Deep curiosity, a growth mindset, and drive to resolve ambiguity
- •Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- •Demonstrated experience aligning and influencing cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership
- •Bias for quantifiable results versus activity and willingness to hold yourself and others accountable for delivering results
- •Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving positive environmental impact
