Job Description
The Solar Programs Associate Application Processing role involves assisting with customer applications for distributed and community solar programs, ensuring efficient processing, communication, and support to promote solar energy adoption and contribute to a decarbonized grid.
Responsibilities
- •Process complex project applications according to standard operating procedures
- •Track progress of work assignments and document completion
- •Communicate professionally with customers regarding application questions
- •Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve application issues
- •Maintain efficiency and accuracy under time constraints
- •Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance program knowledge
Requirements
- •A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of work experience or tenure in related positions in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- •Strong written communication skills.
- •Strong verbal communication skills are a plus.
- •Computer literacy with experience in MS Office Suite.
- •Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- •Ability to work in a hybrid work environment adjacent to one of the specified offices (Oakland, CA; Orange, CA; Portland, OR; Chicago, IL) and be in the office at least once a week.
- •Ability to process complex project applications according to documented standard operating procedures.
- •Ability to track progress of work assignments, including work to be done and work completed.
- •Ability to provide professional written communication to customers who have submitted applications.
- •Ability to communicate with team members and supervisors using collaboration tools to resolve application questions.
- •Maintain a high degree of efficiency and accuracy while under time constraints.
- •Participate in team meetings and complete regular training sessions to expand program knowledge.
- •Willingness to undergo a background check, drug screening, and provide authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
