The role involves ensuring high product quality through automation and manual testing within a cross-functional agile team, focusing on test automation, process improvement, and collaboration with developers and product management to deliver robust software solutions.
Responsibilities
- •Ensure high quality of the product through automation and manual testing.
- •Create, monitor, and improve automated tests to ensure robust test coverage.
- •Collaborate with development and product teams to maintain quality standards.
- •Research, recommend, and implement testing tools and processes to increase automation.
- •Mentor and review testing practices of team members to improve overall quality.
- •Operate independently within an agile team to advocate for quality and customer satisfaction.
- •Define and achieve testing goals, including automation levels and auditability metrics.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- •8 years of professional experience as a QA engineer.
- •Experience delivering robust test automation in Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
- •Deep knowledge of test automation and best QA practices.
- •Experience in writing and setting up UI Automation tests and end-to-end tests.
- •Complete understanding and command of API testing.
- •Experience with CI/CD processes.
- •Able to supervise and coach junior colleagues.
- •Strong communication skills.
- •Experience with bug tracking and test repository software.
- •Experience with minimizing duplication of testing layers.
