Job Description
The Enterprise Security Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security infrastructure to protect enterprise systems, networks, and data against cyber threats, ensuring compliance and collaborating with various teams to integrate security best practices.
Responsibilities
- •Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP, SIEM, and encryption.
- •Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- •Monitor security alerts and incidents, perform forensic analysis, and coordinate incident response.
- •Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and FedRAMP.
- •Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- •Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies.
- •Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into system architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
- •Perform regular security audits, penetration tests, and assessments.
- •Provide security training and awareness to employees.
- •Design and implement zero trust security policies.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- •At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 2 years in enterprise environments.
- •Strong knowledge of network, system, and cloud security.
- •Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Fortinet, Salesforce, ServiceNow, CrowdStrike, Tenable, etc.
- •Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP, SIEM, and encryption.
- •Ability to conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- •Experience monitoring and responding to security alerts and incidents, including forensic analysis and incident response coordination.
- •Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and FedRAMP.
- •Ability to develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- •Experience evaluating and recommending new security tools and technologies.
- •Experience collaborating with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into system architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
- •Ability to perform regular audits, penetration tests, and security assessments.
- •Experience designing and implementing zero trust security policies.
- •Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, Automation and Tooling, and Vulnerability Management.
- •Extensive knowledge of Cloud Security with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
