Job Description

The Senior Backend Engineer at Celonis is responsible for designing and developing advanced AI and machine learning features within the business process management product, focusing on scalable and efficient solutions that enhance operational excellence for customers.

Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop product features and customer solutions for the BPM product.
  • •Implement and maintain software for efficient and scalable BPM solutions.
  • •Design and implement foundational technical components for the Celonis platform.
  • •Understand business needs and translate them into technical problems.
  • •Develop scalable AI ML models for AI assistants in BPM products.
  • •Collaborate with researchers, engineers, product managers, and designers on new features.
  • •Design and build APIs and infrastructure for enterprise operational data.

Requirements

  • •Master's degree, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or related fields
  • •2 years industry experience as a backend software engineer including microservice architecture and REST APIs
  • •Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • •Deep knowledge and understanding of C# and .NET 8/9
  • •Familiarity with the test framework xUnit, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365 extensibility
