Job Description
A part-time Legal Trainee role supporting the Global Employment Law and Compliance team at Celonis, focusing on legal research, policy documentation, AI content review, and team coordination within a fast-paced, international environment.
Responsibilities
- •Support the Global Employment Law team with legal research, documentation, and policy updates
- •Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating legal policies, procedures, and documentation
- •Review AI-generated legal content for clarity, relevance, and accuracy
- •Maintain and update legal databases and trackers to ensure compliance with local legal requirements
- •Help design and format legal training materials and communications
- •Collaborate with team members to organize shared legal resources and support cross-functional tasks
Requirements
- •Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, or a related field, or currently pursuing a master’s-level degree.
- •Fluent in English spoken and written at native-level proficiency or equivalent.
- •Knowledge of Spanish or German is a strong plus.
- •Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Drive, Google Mail, Google Slides).
- •Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools and AI technology is highly valued.
- •Basic understanding of legal trainee labor and employment law, HR-related legal issues, or compliance frameworks.
- •Strong interest in emerging legal and compliance topics, especially those involving AI and data privacy.
- •Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- •Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- •Demonstrated project management abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- •Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and quick learning ability.
- •Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global team.
