Job Description
The Engineering Manager at Celonis is responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop full stack applications and libraries that enhance process mining technology. This role involves managing technical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and fostering an engineering culture focused on trust and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- •Build, lead, and grow the Knowledge Full Stack team in Palo Alto.
- •Use technical judgment to determine the best paths forward on product features.
- •Work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful product features.
- •Manage the performance and support the career development of engineers.
- •Build and maintain an engineering culture of trust, ownership, and collaboration.
Requirements
- •3 years of experience in an Engineering Manager or technical leadership position leading projects and people.
- •Strong technical knowledge at a staff engineer-level in software engineering.
- •Experience working with technologies like Java, Postgres, and microservices.
- •Strong communication skills in English, allowing collaboration with people across multiple roles and countries.
- •Ability to work earlier in the day to coordinate with Europe timezones.
- •Knowledge of day-to-day team organization methodologies like agile.
- •Ability to lead and make decisions to define the road ahead.
- •Ability to resolve technical conflicts when necessary, fostering a positive environment for escalations.
