Job Description
The role involves analyzing the competitive landscape, developing strategic positioning materials, supporting go-to-market teams, and influencing product and sales strategies for Celonis' Process Mining platform within a fast-growing SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor the competitive landscape and adjacent technological categories.
- Develop and maintain competitive positioning materials such as battle cards and differentiation guides.
- Coach and enable customer-facing teams with market intelligence and competitive strategies.
- Support strategic deals by collaborating with go-to-market teams and engaging with prospects.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap through market research and competitive analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry analysts, domain experts, and strategic partners.
- Conduct trend analysis and deal debriefs, reporting insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in management strategy consulting, solution engineering, product marketing, product management, market intelligence, or a comparable fast-paced environment
- Technical Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) is required
- Strategy and market research knowledge and exposure is required
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills in English
- Intellectual curiosity with an innate desire to learn and master market dynamics, customer stories, and competitive advantage even in ambiguous, ever-changing situations
- Ability to see the big picture and contribute to strategy development while also working in the details
- Experience in developing and maintaining competitive positioning materials, including battle cards and differentiation guides against specific competitors and software categories
- Experience in supporting customer-facing teams with knowledge and strategies to outmaneuver competitors
- Experience in leveraging market research and competitive analysis to influence product strategy and roadmap
- Experience in establishing and cultivating relationships with industry analysts, domain experts, and strategic partners
- Ability to conduct continuous trend analysis and deal debriefs on competitive engagements, reporting insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Experience in partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to define and execute a cohesive go-to-market approach
