Job Description
The Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Catalyze is responsible for providing accurate financial and operational metrics, consolidating budgets and forecasts, and supporting executive decision-making to advance the company's renewable energy projects and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate consolidated financial and operating metrics to executive leadership
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for the CEO, CFO, and operating divisions
- Consolidate annual budgets, including income statements, balance sheets, and capital expenditures
- Develop and maintain quarterly rolling financial forecasts
Requirements
- Experience in financial planning and analysis within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar, battery storage, and related infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to consolidate annual budgets, including operating income statements and balance sheets, as well as capital expenditure budgets.
- Experience in preparing and managing quarterly rolling forecasts for large-scale projects or organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to provide timely and accurate consolidated financial and operating metrics, as well as ad hoc analyses, to executive leadership including the CEO and CFO.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes relevant to renewable energy development and operations.
- Experience working with or supporting divisions involved in renewable energy project development, construction, operation, or asset management.
- Educational background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or MBA.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to effectively present financial data and insights to senior management.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
