Job Description
The Sr. Consultant in healthcare analytics leads data-driven consulting projects to improve healthcare outcomes, providing strategic insights, developing analytical models, and delivering visual dashboards while managing client relationships and team performance.
Responsibilities
- •Lead analytics-driven healthcare consulting projects including market assessments, service growth projections, utilization studies, and operational analyses.
- •Build and maintain long-term client relationships through excellence, integrity, and reliability.
- •Provide client leadership by facilitating presentations and work sessions.
- •Develop and mentor teams to deliver analytical solutions and engage with client leaders.
- •Manage project performance, track budgets, and oversee the creation of deliverables.
- •Produce project documentation, research briefs, analysis, graphics, and presentations.
- •Identify and develop improved approaches and tools for service line innovation.
- •Contribute to thought leadership through conference presentations, publications, and networking.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, mathematics, business administration, public health, health administration, or industrial engineering.
- •Master's degree preferred.
- •Minimum of 9 years of experience in healthcare analytics.
- •At least 5 years of healthcare analytics experience.
- •Proven expertise in healthcare financial planning and modeling, healthcare business or strategy planning and modeling, service line planning and modeling, healthcare operational planning and modeling, or capital planning and modeling.
- •Quantitative skills in the creation of complex analytical models using Excel and visualization tools.
- •Ability to work in PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, and virtual collaboration tools.
- •Demonstrated creativity in approach, critical thinking about work, and effective results.
- •Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
- •Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- •Comfortable with regular extensive travel for client work and internal meetings.
- •Must demonstrate executive gravitas and the ability to inspire others.
