Job Description
This role involves overseeing regional practice operations for a design firm, focusing on project delivery, business management, resource allocation, and financial performance, while promoting Living-Centered Design and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.
Responsibilities
- •Oversee regional practice operations, including project delivery, resource management, and technical standards.
- •Manage financial performance of the region, including profitability, revenue forecasting, and financial strategies.
- •Develop and implement regional business plans aligned with the firm's strategic goals and growth targets.
- •Ensure consistent application of project management, risk mitigation, and process best practices across all offices in the region.
- •Lead resource allocation, staffing, recruitment, and staff development to support regional and firm-wide objectives.
- •Implement project delivery methods, including design technology, quality, sustainability, and integration of engineering and interior design.
- •Foster a culture centered on Living-Centered Design to achieve design excellence and client satisfaction.
- •Communicate goals, policies, and initiatives clearly to staff, promoting collaboration and internal engagement.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's Degree is required for this role. Advanced degrees are preferred.
- •Generally, at least 20 years of related experience or equivalent is required.
- •Experience working in the A E C industry is required.
- •Proven leadership ability.
- •Strong organizational and time management skills.
- •Effective change management skills.
- •Ownership and accountability in work responsibilities.
- •Ability to advocate Living-Centered Design.
- •Ability to promote an ethical culture.
- •Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with others.
