Job Description
This position is a senior specialist role in healthcare architecture, focusing on project leadership, client management, mentoring, and developing innovative, sustainable design solutions while translating planning concepts into detailed project documentation.
Responsibilities
- •Lead healthcare projects as a subject matter expert, focusing on team and client leadership, mentoring, and improving work quality
- •Develop innovative solutions and responses to evolving research needs within the industry
- •Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning
- •Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization
- •Communicate planning concepts effectively to project teams, clients, and owners through reports and presentations
- •Work with architectural designers to optimize plans that meet owners' goals and objectives
- •Translate planning concepts into comprehensible terms for clients, designers, and team members
- •Develop, modify, and review planning concepts and solutions
- •Create architectural drawings and specifications to translate planning into construction documentation
- •Develop project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations
- •Integrate sustainable design solutions into projects
- •Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and potential clients
- •Provide guidance and advice to less experienced designers and project leaders
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree.
- •Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- •Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the Healthcare market.
- •Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
- •Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline.
- •Must possess business acumen.
- •Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- •Must be able to lead less experienced team members.
- •Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software.
