Job Description
This entry-level architectural position involves supporting design and technical tasks such as creating models, producing documentation, and assisting with research under supervision, as part of a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- •Contribute to the design process using software like Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch-up under supervision.
- •Build physical building models.
- •Produce architectural documentation and graphics materials for client presentations under supervision.
- •Assist in product research and building code research under supervision.
- •Participate in review of shop drawings and submittals under supervision.
- •Attend in-house project team meetings.
- •Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.
Requirements
- •Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture required by hire date.
- •Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
- •Must have strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- •Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- •Proficiency with Revit and Enscape preferred.
- •Ability to contribute to the design process by utilizing various software platforms such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-up under supervision.
- •Ability to produce architectural documentation under supervisory direction.
- •Ability to produce graphics materials and images for client presentations under supervisory direction.
- •Ability to assist in product research under supervision of Project Architect or Project Manager.
- •Ability to assist with research of building code information as directed by Project Architect.
- •Ability to participate in the review of shop drawings and submittals under supervision.
- •Willingness to attend in-house project team meetings.
- •Willingness to visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress, including physical site walk-throughs.
