Job Description

The role involves leading and developing innovative design projects within the sports and entertainment sector, collaborating with teams and clients, mentoring emerging professionals, and contributing to the firm's strategic growth and reputation in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design development and communicate design goals to clients and team throughout project phases.
  • Partner with team members to co-lead visioning and set conceptual direction.
  • Collaborate across all development phases to ensure design quality and integrate technical and sustainable strategies.
  • Create and oversee the preparation of client presentation materials and visualizations.
  • Co-lead design presentations, emphasizing storytelling and client understanding.
  • Capture and communicate client goals, ensuring design solutions add value and meet project needs.
  • Mentor and grow emerging professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and design excellence.
  • Recruit, retain, and build high-performance design teams.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, build trust, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to business development efforts to achieve targeted signed fees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture required.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture from an accredited program preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in related roles.
  • Sports project experience required.
  • Current US Architectural Registration preferred.
  • Additional accreditations and or training relevant to this role is preferred, including LEED.
  • Design portfolio of built and unbuilt work for which you were both primary and contributing designer, containing 3 or more fully constructed building designs representing a high level of design excellence.
  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to understand and execute business strategy.
  • Must have professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully.
  • Travel required.
