Job Description
The role involves client-facing business development in the clean energy sector, focusing on increasing market reach and closing sales for energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions such as solar, storage, and geothermal. The position requires building strong client relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and supporting the company's growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- •Develop and manage client relationships to increase market reach and sales pipeline.
- •Identify and create new business opportunities through prospecting and leveraging existing networks.
- •Manage all phases of client development, including qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and closing sales.
- •Meet or exceed sales targets in lighting, solar, EV charging, storage, and geothermal projects.
- •Collaborate with internal teams to tailor proposals that meet client financial, operational, and sustainability goals.
- •Leverage channel partners to expand pipeline opportunities.
- •Engage with enterprise-wide clients and key accounts with support from leadership and partnerships team.
Requirements
- •Ten (10) years of work experience in client facing roles in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
- •Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- •Understanding of key building systems and renewable energy space.
- •Experience and understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability solutions in the commercial, institutional, or industrial markets.
- •A successful approach to client relationship management.
- •Strong communication and listening skills.
- •Ability to master complex selling environment to address multiple influences and identify key client business requirements.
- •Effective client relationship development skills that enable a clear path to key decision makers.
- •Local knowledge that enhances an intentional approach to targeted vertical markets.
- •Strong teamwork skills that enable multiple disciplines across Brightcore to work seamlessly to achieve the desired client outcome.
- •Relentless passion to enable clients to achieve their energy efficiency and sustainability objectives.
- •Supervisory responsibility for the position.
Benefits
- •Base annual salary range of $150,000-$180,000
- •Eligible to participate in quarterly commission structure
- •Work hours of a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime pay for non-exempt employees
