Job Description

The role involves client-facing sales activities to expand Brightcore Energy's market presence in clean energy solutions, supporting customer engagement, researching potential sites, and building relationships to convert leads into long-term customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client-facing sales activities to expand market reach and strengthen the opportunity pipeline.
  • Assist with new and existing customer engagements, including outreach, research, and follow-up communication.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer data to support sales efforts.
  • Analyze and evaluate potential sites for geothermal, solar, and LED energy opportunities.
  • Identify sales opportunities through cold-calling, mailing lists, and researching prospective organizations.
  • Build and sustain relationships with leads to convert them into long-term customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote growth and support project execution.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance customer engagement and sales strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sustainability, engineering, business administration or similar.
  • 1-2 years of experience in related sales or research support position preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as HubSpot.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Ability to achieve targets.
  • Work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week.
  • Travel required up to 15% within the Northeast region.
  • Pre-employment background check including employment verification, criminal history check, and drug screen.
  • Compliance with drug and alcohol-free workplace policies, including prior drug and alcohol testing records for safety-sensitive roles if applicable.
