Job Description
The Program Manager will oversee and coordinate autonomous vehicle testing activities, develop testing strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely deployment of technology in a fast-paced environment to support Aurora's self-driving vehicle initiatives.
Responsibilities
- •Develop testing strategies and plans balancing development requirements and resources
- •Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and customer teams to define project scopes, milestones, and priorities
- •Lead project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling for autonomous vehicle testing activities
- •Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- •Coordinate and oversee testing activities across multiple sites
- •Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives and process changes
Requirements
- •At least 2 years of experience in a technology-focused role such as Product Management, Product Operations, Business Strategy, Product Commercialization, Technical Program Management, or Sales Strategy and Operations.
- •Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a related technical subject such as Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
- •Experience overseeing testing and product deployments.
- •Skilled in creating detailed operational workflows, processes, and planning models.
- •Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
