Job Description
This role involves engaging with landowners to secure transmission easements for a large-scale utility transmission line project in Wisconsin, requiring negotiation skills, documentation, and community engagement throughout the multi-year project.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with landowners to secure transmission easements
- Track detailed notes and documentation throughout negotiations
- Support routing efforts, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory preparation
- Represent the team professionally in communities across Wisconsin
Requirements
- Experience on transmission or utility-scale right-of-way (ROW) projects.
- Clear, confident communication skills and landowner negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with Wisconsin utility markets and land use trends.
- Must have an active LLC and reliable transportation.
- Based in Wisconsin or willing to travel within Wisconsin.
- This is a 1099 contract opportunity, not benefits-eligible.
- Availability for long-term utility work in Wisconsin.
- Engagement in activities such as engaging with landowners to secure transmission easements, tracking detailed notes and documentation throughout negotiations, supporting routing efforts, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory preparation, and representing the team professionally in communities across Wisconsin.
