Job Description
A full-time Land Agent supporting wind energy projects in southwestern Minnesota, responsible for land acquisition, securing lease agreements, and building relationships with landowners to facilitate project development.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure wind lease and easement agreements with landowners
- Track and document all landowner communications
- Collaborate with project leadership to meet deadlines
- Build relationships with landowners to facilitate project progress
Requirements
- Experience in land acquisition on wind development projects.
- Strong field communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with southwestern Minnesota.
- Must have an active LLC.
- Ability to build relationships with landowners and secure wind lease and easement agreements.
- Ability to track and document all landowner communications.
- Experience supporting wind energy projects in a full-time, contract role.
- Availability to travel as needed for the project.
- Candidates should be local to southwestern Minnesota or willing to travel, with local candidates strongly preferred.
