Job Description
A part-time Land Agent responsible for negotiating easements and managing land acquisition activities for an electrical distribution project in northeastern Minnesota, working directly with landowners and project stakeholders to ensure project progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and secure easements with landowners
- Keep detailed records of interactions and agreements
- Collaborate with project leads to meet deadlines
- Represent the company professionally with landowners and stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience with land acquisition, right-of-way, or utility projects
- Familiarity with the local area northeastern Minnesota
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Independent and reliable work ethic
- Must have an active LLC
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work directly with landowners and project stakeholders to negotiate and secure easements
- Ability to keep detailed, accurate records of interactions and agreements
- Represent the team with professionalism and integrity
- This is a contract-based role (1099) and is not benefits-eligible
- Local candidates only; no per diem or relocation offered
