Job Description
The position involves negotiating wind lease and easement agreements with landowners for wind energy projects in central Nebraska, requiring strong communication and negotiation skills, landowner relationship management, and familiarity with wind project dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate wind lease and easement agreements with landowners
- Maintain accurate documentation of landowner communications
- Coordinate with project managers to meet acquisition goals
- Represent the project with integrity and local credibility
Requirements
- Experience working on wind energy projects
- Familiarity with central Nebraska landowner dynamics
- Clear communication and negotiation skills
- Must have an active LLC
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to build strong landowner relationships on behalf of the client
- Ability to support wind development projects in central Nebraska, including traveling into the market
- Full-time availability for a contract role (not benefits-eligible)
- Per diem availability for travel
- Local candidates are strongly preferred
