Job Description

The Project Engineer will work on site civil engineering and land development projects, managing project lifecycle from design to construction, ensuring technical excellence, permitting, client relations, and contributing to company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop site civil engineering and land development projects, including potable water and wastewater systems, surface water management, site grading, and roadway design.
  • Manage projects throughout their lifecycle from entitlements to construction, ensuring successful execution.
  • Process permitting and entitlements efficiently across various governmental agencies, utilizing local experience to streamline approvals.
  • Participate in company marketing efforts and foster client relationships to support company growth.
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality projects that meet client satisfaction and project objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University
  • PE Licensure
  • Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices
  • Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects
  • Experience in managing projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution
  • Ability to manage and coordinate various aspects of project development
  • Experience in efficiently processing multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies
  • Ability to utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process
  • Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules for large-scale developments and commercial infills
  • Active participation in company marketing efforts to enhance the company's profile and foster relationships with clients and governmental agencies
  • Contribute to company growth by delivering high-quality projects and ensuring client satisfaction
