Job Description
The Credit and Collections Manager at Astrodyne TDI is responsible for overseeing credit evaluation, managing collections, leading a team, and developing policies to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risk in the power electronics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate creditworthiness for new and existing accounts
- Set and manage credit limits based on risk tolerance
- Oversee collections efforts and lead a team of collectors
- Negotiate payment plans and resolve invoicing issues
- Collaborate with third-party collection agencies and explore credit insurance options
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures
- Create dashboards and reports to support collections and commission payments
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and performance reports for senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of credit and collections experience.
- At least 1 year of experience leading or mentoring a team.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident green card status is required due to access to sensitive customer data, including military clients.

Salary range of $85,000 - $110,000
