Job Description
A Software Engineer in Robotics focused on Task Planning and Reasoning, responsible for developing decision-making and task-planning capabilities for the autonomous four-legged robot ANYmal to perform industrial inspection missions in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop decision-making and task-planning capabilities for autonomous inspection missions
- Enhance the robot's ability to plan, prioritize, and execute inspection tasks in complex environments
- Ensure high levels of autonomy, safety, and operational efficiency during inspections
Requirements
- Develop decision-making and task-planning capabilities that enable the robot to reliably and intelligently inspect industrial facilities in complex and dynamic environments.
- Design and implement algorithms for task planning reasoning that directly impact how the robot plans, prioritizes, and executes inspection tasks.
- Ensure the developed systems support high autonomy, safety, and operational efficiency in critical infrastructure settings.
- Possess experience in robotics software engineering, specifically in task planning, decision-making, or related areas.
- Have the legal right to work in the European Union, as the role is fully remote within the EU.
