Job Description
A Technical Sales Specialist at Amber is responsible for engaging prospective customers, educating them about Amber's energy automation technologies, and helping to grow the company's customer base to accelerate the transition to renewable energy in Australia.
Responsibilities
- •Engage with prospective customers to educate them about Amber's technology and benefits.
- •Promote and explain Amber's Smartshift automation technology to improve customer ROI.
- •Assist in growing Amber's customer base through direct sales efforts.
- •Provide technical knowledge and support to potential clients about home energy solutions.
- •Contribute to the company's mission to accelerate the transition to renewable energy.
Requirements
- •Ability to work in a full-time role based in Melbourne with flexibility to work from home and in-office as needed.
- •Experience in talking to prospective customers and educating them about energy technology and automation solutions.
- •Demonstrated ability to explain how Amber's Smartshift automation technology can improve customers' return on investment and help accelerate Australia's transition to 100% renewables.
- •Full legal right to work in Australia, with applications accepted only from candidates already based in Australia with full working rights.
- •Willingness to participate in a structured hiring process including a screening interview with the Sales team, a take-home case study, a follow-up interview with the Sales Lead and another team member, and a semi-formal coffee meeting with the General Manager.
- •Ability to communicate effectively and provide examples of challenges facing the transition towards renewable energy in Australia (as part of the application process).
