Job Description

The Senior Strategy Operations Manager will lead the Strategy and Operations team at Amber, focusing on scaling operations, driving strategic initiatives, and improving customer experience to support the company's mission of accelerating the renewable energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Strategy and Operations team to scale operations and drive impact.
  • Collaborate with senior members of operations, product, and technology teams to improve end-to-end customer experience.
  • Apply analytical and strategic problem-solving skills to support company growth and impact.

Requirements

  • The candidate must be an analytical and strategic individual with strong leadership skills who is excited about applying their exceptional problem solving skills to help scale operations and drive impact.
  • The candidate must have experience leading or managing a Strategy and Operations team, with the team currently consisting of 2 members.
  • The candidate must have experience working closely with senior members of operations, product, and technology teams, as well as collaborating with other internal and external teams to drive meaningful change to the customer’s end-to-end experience.
  • The candidate must be able to work full-time in Melbourne, with flexibility to work between the office in Melbourne CBD and from home.
  • The candidate must have the right to work in Australia, as applications are only accepted from candidates already based in Australia.
  • The candidate must submit a CV and a cover letter answering the question: 'What is the best customer experience you have ever experienced and why?' as part of the application process.
  • The candidate must be prepared to undergo a multi-stage interview process including a screening interview with the talent team, a 30-minute video meeting, a 45-minute live case study interview with the Director of Operations, a 60-minute in-person interview including a 30-minute chat with the hiring manager (Director of Operations), a 30-minute chat with 2 team members, and a 30-minute final interview with the CEO via video meeting.
