Job Description

A Customer Operations Specialist at Amber supports customer engagement by providing timely and informative assistance, helping to promote the company's renewable energy solutions and innovative energy management technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide informative, concise, and timely support to customers.
  • Engage with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Assist in building Amber's vision through customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Ability to work as a casual employee with hours that may vary depending on scheduling, including availability to work Monday to Friday between 9am and 8pm, specifically 12pm to 8pm, 2-3 days a week.
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week based in Melbourne, with flexibility to work from home and occasionally attend the office in the CBD.
  • Full working rights in Australia and current residence in Australia, preferably Melbourne.
  • Willingness to learn about how a modern, innovative company engages with its customers and provides informative, concise, and timely support.
  • Ability to provide customer support that is informative, concise, and timely, demonstrating good communication skills.
  • Experience working in a customer service or customer operations role (preferred but not explicitly stated as mandatory).
  • Ability to work in a close-knit team environment and contribute to building Amber’s ambitious vision.
  • Willingness to complete a take-home case study as part of the application process.
  • Willingness to participate in a screening interview with a Customer Operations team member and a final interview with the Customer Experience Manager or Director of Operations.
