Job Description

The Mid-Market Account Executive at AlertMedia is responsible for selling emergency communication software to mid-sized organizations by managing a territory, conducting demos, building relationships, and closing complex SaaS deals through consultative sales approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a territory of 300 strategic accounts.
  • Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and pricing discussions with prospects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to generate new business.
  • Guide prospects through the sales process, including demos, proposals, negotiations, and contract closing.
  • Transition closed accounts to Customer Success Managers and collaborate on expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technology teams to execute sales strategies and stay updated on new products and features.
  • Utilize sales tools such as SFDC, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Nav to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Continuously improve sales skills through call reviews and coaching.

Requirements

  • 2 years experience in a consultative closing sales role in a winning SaaS environment
  • Experience in closing complex deals
  • Demonstrated ability to bring energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to work
  • Passion for continual learning with a desire and willingness to be coached
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Strong listening skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to travel to visit clients 1-2 times a quarter and to attend various events and tradeshows throughout the year
  • In-office, hybrid position requiring presence 3 days a week in downtown Austin, Texas headquarters
