Job Description
The Mid-Market Account Executive at AlertMedia is responsible for selling emergency communication software to mid-sized organizations by managing a territory, conducting demos, building relationships, and closing complex SaaS deals through consultative sales approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a territory of 300 strategic accounts.
- Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and pricing discussions with prospects.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to generate new business.
- Guide prospects through the sales process, including demos, proposals, negotiations, and contract closing.
- Transition closed accounts to Customer Success Managers and collaborate on expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and technology teams to execute sales strategies and stay updated on new products and features.
- Utilize sales tools such as SFDC, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Nav to improve sales effectiveness.
- Continuously improve sales skills through call reviews and coaching.
Requirements
- 2 years experience in a consultative closing sales role in a winning SaaS environment
- Experience in closing complex deals
- Demonstrated ability to bring energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to work
- Passion for continual learning with a desire and willingness to be coached
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
- Strong listening skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to travel to visit clients 1-2 times a quarter and to attend various events and tradeshows throughout the year
- In-office, hybrid position requiring presence 3 days a week in downtown Austin, Texas headquarters
